In the open.
All prices in Australian dollars, GST included. You pay by how many people, never by team: teams and admins are unlimited on every club plan. Every plan starts with a free first month, and there is no lock-in: cancel any time, on any plan.
For most clubs the whole bill is 2 numbers: the plan, plus 6c a text past the monthly allowance. Anything else is named on this page.
Provisional
We set these prices before our first club. We will confirm them with our founding clubs before public launch.

No lock-in, stated plainly
Every plan starts with a free month, whether you pay monthly or yearly. After that, cancel whenever you like, for any reason, with no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Paid a year up front and leaving early? We refund the months you will not use.
We removed our free-forever tier because it asked committees to plan a season around a plan we could not commit to keeping free. A time-boxed trial on every real plan is a promise we can actually keep.
Texts, priced honestly
Beyond your monthly allowance, texts are prepaid credits at 6c each, and credits never expire. Wholesale costs us roughly 2 to 4 cents depending on volume; we publish the margin because you should be able to see who pays for what.
What an allowance means in practice: Club Starter's 750 texts cover a weekly ask and 1 reminder for about 85 families, every week of the month.
Before every send, the cost is on the button: Nudge 12 ≈ $0.72. The first bill is never a surprise.
Annual is the off-season discount
Pay yearly and 2 months are free. We name it honestly: it is the off-season discount, because your club does not stop existing in the wet months.
Seasonal club that truly goes quiet? Ask us about the off-season pause: data kept, texts off, read-only until you are back.
Your smallest sponsor can cover the year.
$490 covers Club Starter for a whole year. That is in the range of the smallest line on most sponsorship menus.
The club sells it and keeps anything above the bill. MeetPi never invoices a sponsor and never runs ads. Sponsor name placement on club pages is being built now as a records-only register, with self-serve placement to follow, and sponsor names never appear in texts or on pages children see.
Asked by every committee, answered plainly.
Other platforms are free. Why would we pay?
They really can be free: a club that never takes payments through them uses them at no cost, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.
But "free" is a business model, and someone always pays. Those platforms are free because they add a fee to the payments that flow through them. MeetPi is paid the boring way, a published subscription, and takes 0% of your club's money. You can see exactly who pays and what for.
The reason clubs switch is not price. It is the message that arrives as a text, the RSVP that sorts itself, and the roster that exists exactly once.
What does "no lock-in" actually mean?
No minimum term, on any plan. Cancel with a message to us, any time, no form to fill in and no fee. If you paid annually, we refund whatever part of the year you have not used. The free first month needs no card to end early either.
Do we still need PlayHQ, Squadi or GameDay?
Yes. Registration stays wherever your association mandates it, and MeetPi never touches it. Bring the roster across as a club-authorised export and MeetPi runs the club side of the week: the asks, the replies, the board, the record. The mirror is one way and nothing writes back.
Can guardians really use it without installing anything?
Yes, permanently and by design. Guardians reply to a text, or tap a link to a page that needs no app, no account and no password. Guardians who want more can download the app and track every fixture, result and team their family is in, but it is always a bonus, never a requirement. Coaches and committee use MeetPi itself, which installs from the browser.
What about taking payments?
We are building them now, through Stripe, for club money: fundraising, uniforms, canteen and social tickets. MeetPi's platform fee is 0%, enforced in code, so you pay Stripe's processing fee and nothing to us. We do not profit from your club's money and we never hold it. Association registration and its money stay where they are.
What happens to our data if we leave?
It leaves with you. Your roster and records export to CSV at any time, complete and free. We would rather earn the renewal than block the door.
What does "provisional" mean here?
We wrote these prices before our first club, and we will confirm them with our founding clubs during the 2026-27 season, before a wider launch. The shape stays the same: a published price, a free first month, no lock-in, a published SMS margin, and a $0 platform fee on payments, enforced in code.
